Delete your account and your data
You can delete your account yourself at any time. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
How to delete it
- In the app: open Account, choose “Delete my account”, and confirm by typing the phrase it asks for.
- Or write to hello@slongehoops.com from the address your account uses, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete it by hand and confirm by e-mail.
What is deleted, immediately
- Your profile, your sign-in, your avatar image and your personal plays.
- Your quiz results, everywhere.
- Invite links and share links you created are revoked.
- A roster entry linked to you is unlinked and its name replaced with a placeholder.
- Your personal subscription is cancelled at Stripe, so nothing keeps billing.
- If you were a team’s last coach and its club has no other admin, the team, its playbooks, plays and roster are removed from view at once and every member loses access.
What is kept, and for how long
- Team content you made passes to another coach of that team (or the club’s admin), because it belongs to the team. It no longer carries your account.
- Teams, playbooks, plays and roster entries that were removed are purged from the database 30 days later.
- Security audit events are kept with your identity removed: they record what happened, not who did it.
- Stripe, as merchant of record, keeps the financial record of purchases it is legally obliged to keep. That record is Stripe’s; you can ask Stripe directly to delete what it may.
Plays saved without an account
Plays you drew without signing in never left your device. Clearing the site data for the app in your browser removes them; there is nothing on a server to delete.
