The habit every spacing offence is built on: one player drives a gap and the other four move on the drive rather than watching it. The strong-side wing drifts to the corner, the weak side lifts, and the kick goes to whichever man the helper left.

Drive the gap with two feet in the paint — 2 drifts to the corner, 3 lifts to the wing.
